We've been married for just over a month now BUT we have already been planning our one year anniversary.. ITALY!!! That's what we would like to do at least ha ha. Who knows what will be going on next year but as of right now, this is the goal :) Also I'm going to try learning italian over the next year, ha I mean why not?? Anyways............ we'll see. Dream big!

Okay so here is what's going on in our sweet little lives as of late..

We just got back from a quick San Diego business trip a couple days ago. Big things are happening for Zack it's so exciting! While he was in his business meetings all day I went to beach, ate some lunch and went shopping at TARGET! Hahah Santa Barbara has NO Walmart or Target so I was really excited!!

Also, you may or may not already know that...... Zack has a hernia. It's been bad for about a month now and he's getting surgery on the 26th, next Friday. He had it before we got married so he's been bearing through it all while we've been moving and traveling, while we were in Hawaii, Disneyland and he's taken me surfing a bunch too. Such a trooper my man! We're SO happy it's getting fixed next week!

The most exciting day for us though will be September 1st when we can FINALLY move into our place! We are so excited!! Yesterday we went furniture shopping and found a beautiful bed, kitchen table and chairs, couch, sofa chair and an ottoman. We LOVE them! I'm counting down the days until we will have a place to call home.

We've got a cozy little 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo. We can't wait to have friends and family from Utah to come stay with us :) I'll post some pictures of our place when we move in to give you a little idea of what it'll be like. Hope ya'll make your way to our new little home. 

Ohhh  yeah and one last thing...... I'm thinking about doing the Tough Mudder in January. It sounds like death, but my sisters and cousins are doing it so I might start training. It's basically it's an 11 mile obstacle course in Phoenix. They say it's the hardest event of the year. I'm super nervous! Check out this video, it'll give you a better idea of the torture.......

So we slowly started talking about marriage and went ring shopping in March. Finally after what seemed like a lifetime..... he PROPOSED April 14, 2011 :) It was SO cute!! So..... while I was busy studying for most of the day Zack, Matt and Glenna were shopping for the proposal supplies. They were gone all day working on it and whenever I would ask Zack what was going on he would giggle and act really suspicious. But I had an exam that night so I ignored it and continued to study. Zack was planning on proposing later that night after I had taken a math test so they thought they had plenty of time to set up BUT my car broke down on the way to the testing center so I called Zack crying and he came to my rescue, leaving the project at hand behind. Thankfully Matt and Glenna worked away to make it ready in time :) We had already been planning on handing out with Matt and Glenna so we started driving to their place but on the way over Zack started acting nervous and then he put our song on. He was really quiet during the song and when I looked over at him he had tears streaming down his cheeks. I had a feeling tonight was proposal night :) YES!! So we get to Matt and Glenna's place (Midtown in Orem) and we get into the elevator..... I'm oblivious and don't realize we've gotten off the wrong floor SO after we the leave the elevator I look around and realize I don't recognize the area... I was really confused until I saw the confetti trail....

It was a beautiful night. After Zack proposed we went to celebrate at pizzeria 712 with Matt and Glenna. It was so fun calling our families and telling them the big news! 

SO..... after months of planning and traveling we were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple!!! It was the best day of my life! We had our reception at the Devereaux Mansion in SLC. It turned out perfect. No regrets :) I loved every minute of it..... even the part where I ran past the giant picture frame, snagged it on my dress and knocked the entire thing over. It was pretty funny. We had soooo much help from friends and family they seriously made our big day SO easy! Thank you sooooo much everyone! It was incredible :)

That night we stayed at The Grand America Hotel which was incredible! It was perfect. The next morning we went to the airport and........ we MISSED OUR FLIGHT!! Hahaha. Ohhh my goodness. It was terrible at the time but funny now looking back. Luckily with some help we got a later connecting flight and made it to Hawaii that night. We spent a week in Oahu surfing, we did a shark dive, dolphin encounter, snorkeling, ECT. We stayed at the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki. It was a palace! BEST WEEK EVER!!!!

Now that your caught up on the past 2 years of our lives hahaha we'll blog about whats currently going on in our newlywed lives :) xo
