elephants

I love the zoo!!
We went just before Christmas so we got to watch the elephants paint ornaments. They put a small PVC pipe in the end of the elephants nose that had some paint on it so that when the elephant exhaled it would spray paint on the white ornaments. It was really fun to watch! When the elephants got tired of entertaining us they started throwing dirt at us haha.

bang bang

My family loves shooting guns. There is something so satisfying about shooting cans/bottles/ect and watching them explode ha. The 22 was my favorite this day because it didn't make me ears scream after every shot. Should've brought ear plugs..... whoops! Anyways we all had a blast and felt pretty BA afterwards haha.
Look how cute/small Panguitch is

Christmas trolly

Merry Christmas!!

Hopefully everyone has had a lovely holiday! We're back in Utah with my family AND it has been snowing A LOT so basically it doesn't get much better than this!

Before we came to Utah Zack and I celebrated Christmas with his family a few times and we had our own little Christmas night :) It has been soo fun! We've got to celebrate Christmas 6 times i think between both of our families. We've made a lot of good memories this year!!

One night that was really fun in particular was when we rode the Christmas trolly around Santa Barbara with Zack's family. The trolly picked us up and drove us up to this yummy Italian place on state street. After dinner the trolly drove us around to see the houses with the craziest Christmas light displays. The trolly played Christmas music and handed out cookies while  we made our way around town. It was so fun! Our little nieces had the time of their lives giggling and screaming every time they saw Santa haha. It was adorable.

Volcano Mountain

Every since I can remember my dad has been taking us camping, hiking, shooting, ect.... at Volcano Mt, our secret place near Panguitch. It's a mountain of huge volcanic boulders piled high and perfect for climbing. I love every opportunity I have to go back, because other than it being a dear place in my heart it is so fun, especially when you have the whole family.

My dad is a champ! He's had his knee replaced a couple of times, tons of surgeries, arthritis pain from past injuries and he still came and climbed the mountain. & I do mean climb literally.. it's no walk in the park. Plus we did it with snowy icy boulders.

The best part is when you get up to the top of the mountain, you sit on the highest boulder and just take in the view. You can even see the beginning of Bryce Canyon from up there. It's amazing.

My cousin Josh. It was really fun having him hang out with the family.
Don't mind my clown outfit... this is what happens when you forget to pack the right boots.
"this land is my land, this land is your land....." haha
hahaha rawwrr... actually we were going for more of a golum look

This adventure is from Thanksgiving morning, before the feast. We also shot some swwweeet guns once we got down from the boulders, but that'll be in the next post.

This was one of the greatest days! Definitely a gem in my family memories. I'm so grateful to be blessed with my wonderful family. Even everyone who couldn't be a part of this years Thanksgiving :) I have a lot of great people in my life. xo.
