Thinking of all my loves who

aren't here today.

My grandparents left incredible

legacies & I hope that one day I can grow

into the type of people they were :)

I can't wait for the amazing

reunion we'll all have after this life.

The last day of the season is always bittersweet.

I'm tired & beat from riding by the time April 

comes that even though I'm sad it's ending,

 I'm a little relieved to take a break and

to start looking forward to summer.

Alllll the years I've spent snowboarding I've 

(usually) been able to go ride at least twice a week. 

I love, loveee snowboarding. That made moving to 

CA even harder than it already was just leaving my 

family and friends.. but we're in Utah all the time

 so I just bought a season pass to the Canyons anyways.

Winter wasn't super generous in the snow department

this year so I guess this was a good year to be

living away. HA, basically all the days I got to

ride were sad- lots of ice or slush.

I'm just grateful I got to ride at all though :)

This was my last day on the mountain.

Not a whole lot of snow left..

Ohh and next year I'm going to PCMR. It's always been

my absolute favorite place to ride. Byeeee Canyons!

Kunal Nayyar

Raj (Kunal Nayyar) from The Big Bang Theory

came to SLCC last month for a 

speech/discussion with the students.

My wonderful mama got us tickets!

He was great! We were all laughing THE entire time.

After he told everyone his story about how he got

started on the show and errrrything he started taking

questions from the students. That's when it got

reeeeal funny! We had such a good time!

I loveee hiking!

If I could hike everyday I would.

Problem is- 

I don't have a lot of people

to go hiking with in SB.

Zack and I try to go hiking whenever we can,

but usually when he has a day off we surf instead.

which btw, I'm totally okay with :)

Anyways, when in Utah- we hike!

It was Sunday. We were late to church so we were

sitting out on the couches in the foyer. Zack went

outside for a few minutes to get some fresh air and

came back in with the greatest news I'd heard all 

week- it was snowing in the mountains above SB!!

Sitting through all 3 meetings of church was 

brutal. I was so worried that all the snow would 

melt before we could made it up there.

Thankfully, we made it!

I could barely contain my excitement! It was the first

time I got to see snow in CA! Not to mention I was 

super homesick and missing Utah's snow. It was a

"Christmas miracle" hahah kidding.. BUT seriously it

was a huge blessing to me. The week prior to this 

Sunday my dear Dixie passed away. It was the worst 

week I can remember having in a long, long time. 

& this little bit of snow made me so happy.

 I cut my hand on a cactus while I 
was making a snowball..

which I also turned out to being 
allergic to ha, of course.

 Yup, brought some snow back to our freezer.

 The drive to and from Camino Cielo was uhhh-mazing.
