tee time

We love going to hit balls at the driving range. I basically just laugh the entire time because I either have an embarrassing swing where I miss the ball or and an impressive hit that makes me feel like a professional. It's so fun, I love it! Hopefully one day I'll learn how to have a consistently good swing like Zack.

^^ ha such a funny accident picture

And for fun, here's little vine

Laker game!!

It was a Friday and I was babysitting when I get a call from Zack around 2:00 pm asking if I wanted to go to the Laker game that night. Duh, of course! So we were on our way to LA by 3:00!

Best surprise ever. It got better. I didn't even know where we were sitting until we walked to our seats. Hello 11th row on the court! We were behind the basket by the Lakers bench so I was like 2 feet away from all the action. Whhhhhat?! From my seat I could see 50 cent, Jack Black and the other dude from Tenacious D, Jack Nicholson, and Kobe's wife and kids. It was crazy.

Btw- I didn't realize we were going to have such amazing seats so I didn't bring my nice camera :( tear. These iphone pics do no justice.

Ahhh the view from our seats! Everyone sitting above us looked like ants, which was a nice change considering it's usually the players who look like ants from our regular nose bleed seats. Let's be honest though, any seat at the Staples Center is freaking amazing to watch from.

Dwight & Pau! Whhhat up.

The Black Mamba!

This was the game where Kobe tore his achilles :( and this is the pic I got of him walking out after it happened. I can't believe we were there for this historic game.

Stupid crappy iphone camera.. That dude in the blue hat walking away is 50 cent. He tried to exit through the players entrance and they wouldn't let him so he had to turn away and leave from the other side. I was waiting for him to get closer before I took the pic but once they turned him around this was the best I could get. Thanks sacurity.

Even though our hearts broke after Kobe's injury, we couldn't not celebrate because they still WON! YEEEAHHHH!!! GO LAKERS!!!

Here are some awesome Vine's I got at the game!

Best night ever.

hiking biz

We did some cool hikes a few weeks ago. This first hike was super hot! We all wore hats as to try and hide our faces from the unforgiving sun.. which basically just turned our heads into sweaty hot messes.. which I'm sure you were dying to know about. Anyways it was fun! It always is.

If you notice in the picture below Zack and I are wearing our matching Hawaii hats.. we always happen to wear them on the same day without even thinking about it. Then we get people asking us if we just went to Hawaii, and that's when I realize we are matching.

We did this second hike on a dark, cold, marine layered day. Glenna and I got into talking about scary movies, which isn't the best idea when your hiking in thick, creepy fog.. eek! We ended up doing an 8 mile loop, which was awesome other than the fact we didn't bring any food or toilet paper. Seriously considered using leaves towards the end there ha. After our hike we stuffed our starving faces at Panino. Mmmm.

best advice

"You don't ever have to feel guilty about removing toxic people from your life. It doesn't matter whether someone is a relative, romantic interest, employer, childhood friend, or a new acquaintance. You don't have to make room for people who cause you pain or make you feel small. It's one thing if a person owns up to their behavior and makes an effort to change. But if a person disregards your feelings, ignores your boundaries, and 'continues' to treat you in a harmful way, they need to go."
-Danielle Koepke

You have no idea how much I needed to read this! It's been hard for me to realize that it's okay to let go of people. Just because they have a certain title in your life doesn't mean you have to keep them there.

I've been in the process of emotionally removing certain people from my life, even though they'll always be around. And ever since I've done so I've felt like I've just done myself the biggest favor in the world. Plus realizing those people don't care at all about how they've made me feel, just reassures me that I've done the right thing.

Everyone deserves to be happy! Don't ever let anyone treat you less than you deserve, ever. If someone can't see you for the amazing person you are, they don't belong in your life.

Hiii

Lately life has been "cray loco coco" as my sis Jess would say. Between classes, applying for another school, stressing, working, trying to shape up for summa, my sister staying with us, spending time with mah main squeeze and traveling to Utah I haven't had any spare time to blog. And with everything else overwhelming my brain at the moment I don't really care. Hoping to catch up this month. Maybe after finals. We'll see. xo
