Zack's Birthday

Happy Birthday my loveee! Zack turned 31 on Dec 4th and he is still handsome as ever! We had a lot of fun celebrating :) On the Sunday before his birthday we had his entire family plus some friends over for pizza, cake and ice cream. The pizza wasn't that great but the company was! 

Zack doesn't like cake so I made him a brownie cake which ended up tasting divine.

On Zack's birthday we went to massage envy for a couples massage. Mine was perfect and amazing.... but Zack's massage was terrible! He left that stupid place with a migraine and was dizzy for the rest of the night. They even poked him in the eye!!! How is that even possible during a massage?? Poor babe :( After he had a few hours to relax and try to feel a little better Matt and Glenna brought some Little Caesar's pizzas over! We stuffed our faces, watched the last half of the Laker game and gave Zack his presents. It was so fun!

At the end of the night Glenna and I made gingerbread houses! Glenna's turned out uhhmazing, like professional. Mine on the other hand was a joke... it collapsed time after time after time so I gave up and made a gingerbread tent. We couldn't stop laughing.

I absolutely love learning new beauty tips and tricks! Especially natural ones. I can't even remember how I stumbled onto these but I am in love so far. 

The first being baking soda. Maybe I'm the last one in on this but seriously... baking soda is great. I've been using it in the morning with my face wash as an exfoliator and my face feels uhhmazing afterwards! Glowing. 

Not only have I been using it on my face, but I've also been using it to whiten my teeth. I put a small amount on my toothbrush with a little water and then I brush away. Afterwards I rinse my toothbrush, put tooth paste on it and brush some more. Call me crazy but I swear my teeth are getting whiter. 

Another favorite as of late would be coconut oil. Everybody already knows all about the magic of coconut oil but I still had to share. I love it. I use it on my hair, my face, my lips, my eye lashes, my hands, ect.... Amazing. 

Sugar is another wonderful exfoliator. I use it on my face and lips every now and then. 

Speaking of natural products..... has anyone been to Lush? I love everything they sell. Even if you aren't buying anything it's just fun to go into the store and smell everything. MMM. 

Thanksgiving

This year we went to Panguitch for Thanksgiving with my family. It's always so wonderful when we get to spend time with my dear grandparents who by the way, recently celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary! They are so full of love and completely selfless spending their time serving others. I have always looked up to them :) It was also a lot of fun spending time with my Aunt Sherrie and my cousin Josh who traveled from Arizona, and my Aunt Michelle and cousins Shalee, her kiddos, JC and his little family because I don't get to see them very often. 

 My grandparents are adorable! 

Our family stayed at the Canyon Lodge because I'm allergic to my grandparents cute little dogs.

Panguitch was a lot of fun to cruise around in. We put on our coats Wednesday night and walked up and down main street exploring the little shops. Most of them were closed for the season so we walked to the grocery store. I felt like I was 10 years old again :)

Happy Thanksgiving!!

It's our family tradition to have a ridiculous amount of delicious pies on Thanksgiving! There are usually more than people haha.. but this year we had a few less pies than usual and there was still more than enough! MMMM

hauntober randomness

Jess and I LOVE haunted houses! We went to through the Haunted Forest just the two of us and I almost died of laughter... laughter from being terrified to be specific. Not to mention during the haunted house a group of clowns started chanting my name while we were trapped in a small room!! I almost peed. Luckily it was just a girl that lived down the street from me and luckily she let me live. Also I wore Zack's Sorel boots because I thought it would be muddy and they were so big I could barely run for my life when the chainsaws came out! Anyways- we had so much fun at the Haunted Forest we decided to go to another haunted house the following night. We went to the Castle of Chaos and it was the biggest rip off. Worst haunted house I've EVER been too. Plus they were running some freak show in the back with vampire sluts for desperate high school boys. Ew. The only fun part about that weird place was that Meghan and her friends came so that was fun at least hanging out with everyone. 

I love this park in orem with the giant swings, but when Nikole and I went there they wouldn't spin! Sad. 

Shopping with Nikole. I reeeally wanted to buy a wig, they are so fun! But what would I do with it?? 

 I put my box of Rumbi leftovers in my purse.. and then this happened :( My purse still smells of teriyaki sauce.

So SB doesn't really have seasons but Glenna and I were desperate to make it feel like fall so we ventured out to find leaves to jump in. Finally we found a pile that some gardener raked up... hahah and we made a mess of them and had so much fun. The children playing soccer in the background thought we were loco.

I adore my neices and nephew! He put on his cute costume for me and tried to get Khloe to take some pictures with us HA.
