LA

Today Zack and I went through the LA Temple. It was the first time I'd ever been to this Temple and I fell in love! I never realized how gorgeous it was until I actually got to see it up close. Everything about it was so beautiful. Our session was amazing. This morning I felt completely overwhelmed with school and other responsibilities.. just life in general. A bunch of things kept getting in the way of us going to the Temple but we made it work, thankfully! As soon as we got there I felt so much peace and my mind became clear. It was exactly what I needed! Aww feeling so grateful.

 After the session we got dinner at Apple Pan. DELICIOUS! We basically ordered one of everything off of the menu. We were starving! This place is classic.

Inspiration Point

Over a year ago we went hiking in search of this place called Seven Falls. It sounds amazing right?? Well we never found it and ended up on the top of this other mountain instead. It was a really foggy day so we couldn't see much, but it was still really cool. 

So in my hiking class on Friday we hiked up to this place called Inspiration Point. Once we got there I realized that it was where we had accidentally hiked to on that foggy day forever ago. Cool huh? I thought it was. The view is soo pretty on a clear day!

Hiking

Today we went hiking with Matt & Glenna on one of our favorite trails. We went farther than we ever have before and found this gorgeous lookout. It feels like a completely different hike now. I loved it. Next time I want to go even farther and see where we end up.

Refugio Beach

We went hiking around Refugio Beach yesterday. It's so gorgeous there! We're pretty sure we saw a shark feeding on something just off shore, so that was pretty cool to see. I seriously think it must be shark season right now. There have been too many sightings over the past week. I'm probably going to stay out of the water for a little while.

Labor Day

3 day weekends are the best! We went hiking twice, did lots of swimming, movie nights, running, dinner downtown, yogurtland, and lots of relaxing. It was just what we needed.
