I love my family!

It's been a month since I've seen them now and I'm starting to go a little crazy. I'm so homesick. 3 more weeks and I'll be back with them! Ahhh. three. more. weeks. 

Until then I'll just reminisce..

Here are a few of us at TGI Fridays. We stopped here for a late night din after Diana's wedding. It was nice to get out of the crazy snow storm while we ate some good food. My dad used to bring us here for fhe all the time when we were little. So, in honor of re-living our childhood we had to get a cup of dirt for dessert. nom nom nom.

Okay, so one of the things I do when I'm homesick is watch funny videos I've made with the fam, because it makes me laugh so hard, and this one takes the cake today.

For one, having a dance party with my mom and little brother was basically the best night ever. I was getting over a terrible cold but they made me forget all about the pressure making my head want to pop. I can never stop laughing when I'm with my mom. She is THE best!

Every time we go to my mom's we hide that dog she's holding in her room, then we wait for the scream. It ALWAYS scares her lol. Works every time :) Sorry mom, it's too fun! Also, I don't know why my brother pulled his shorts all the way up for this picture haha. He is so funny.

I hate when Cyrus wears this mask. It's too realistic. 

Freaks me out. eeek.

silver beaver

Zack's dad received the Silver Beaver award! I'm not sure what it means exactly (other than many many years of working hard with the scouts) but I do know that it's a big deal. Congrats Jim woop woop! We're all proud of you.

The entire Bartlett family drove up to Santa Maria for a dinner/awards ceremony at the Elks Lodge. The food was terrible, but the cutest elderly people were serving it to us so I felt bad complaining. They were too precious.

This is a pic Glenna took haha. Note to self: when you're starving after a bad dinner and start zoning out, you're gonna look like you hate everyone. Don't do that.

While we were driving home I got soo cold, carsick and even more hungry so Zack gave me his warm sweaty socks, tickled my back and took me to In N Out :)

So for my birthday Susan took me to this AMAZING photography workshop. It was an 8 hour class that taught you everything about shooting manual, lighting, editing, ect.. and then at the end of the class we got to go out and practice!

The workshop was taught by the talented Jami Edman. She's an amazing photographer and teacher. If anyone is looking to learn more about their camera and take better pictures you should check out her website/classes here. I learned SO much and had tons of fun.

This next two pictures were taken by Jami while we were out practicing what we had learned. It was snowing soo hard, obviously, but it made for some fun pictures.

(keep in mind there were 10 other people trying to take pictures of the same girls, so you couldn't exactly get the shots you wanted without getting in other peoples way)

And this is how we looked after getting drenched in the snow haha.

Boat Show

Every year I look forward to going to the boat show with my dad. It's the best. 

We are such a boating family plus my dad is a major fisherman!

AND it just so happens that Zack and I are wanting to buy a boat and live on it. I always thought it was a funny idea until we started looking at houseboats. I could totally live on a houseboat in the harbor! For now at least. It would be a lot of fun! So we looked at houseboats and dreamed of life on the sea.

This year my dad found his drrrream boat too and it's all he could think about while we were at the show. I tried to show him these water jetpacks you can do, but he was too focused on his boat to be impressed haha.

Dad I hope you get your dream boat, or turn our current one into it! You deserve it.

My favorite part of the boat show is the wakeboarders. 

It makes me so excited for Lake Powell this summer!!

Has anyone ever tried this? It is SO fun! Nikole is reeeeally good at it! We went to Jake's Archery in Orem, where she goes to get her archery on, and she taught me a thing or two. I loved it. If you've never been I highly recommend going!!

Valentines Day

This is what I woke up to on Valentines hahah. Zack is the funniest, one of the many reasons why I love him so much!  

 I also woke up to breakfast (mcgriddles mmm) and a dozen roses. Zack woke up SO early and got these little surprises for me while I was sleeping. He is such a sweetheart! 

Zack and I didn't want to get separated so I came into work with him. It was verrry romantic as you can see :)

For lunch Zack took me to Elephant Bar, which was so so good! Plus it's right on the airport runway so you have a view of all the private planes.

Don't laugh! These are some of the Valentines I made Zack HA! I am so not artistic.. but they were so fun to make. 

 We loveee Star Wars, so I figured these would be cute!

1,252 days since our first date.

For dinner we went to Arnoldi's, this old italian restaurant that Zack and I are huge fans of. They were even able to get us in last minute when our other reservations fell through. It was delish!

Not only did I get spoiled by Zack, but a lot of family sent me valentines that made me feel so loved! 

I've always loved Valentines day, even when I didn't have a special someone. It's so fun just having an excuse to celebrate the people you love. I hope everyone else had a lovely holiday too!
