Ventura

During the week Zack works

his bum off!! So, come Saturday we

usually try to get out and go surfing!

Sometimes we meet up with Jake,

his older brother, 

which is always a good time.

Jake finds out where waves are the

biggest and we meet him there.

Zack & Jake are uhhh-mazing in the water 

....while I just try to catch a 

few tamer waves without drowning.

So on this particular day, the 

waves were the best at "fair grounds"

in Ventura. When we got there the

 conditions were weird and there were

tonsss of people in the water. 

We couldn't decide what to do..

so we just figured we'd go say hi to

Jake while we figured it out.

He was at the other end of the beach

with Emily and their friends from

Utah. We went over- said hey,

& hung out with them for a little.

It was such a fun beach. I loved it.

The pier went sooo far out! 

Kinda scary.. and it was so cute

watching the kiddos play

with their little friends.

Not too much later Zack & I decided

we wanted to surf :) 

We said goodbye to everyone and

got into the water (which was

extremely freezing for some 

reason, even with my wetsuit.)

.. and well, we had the greatest time!
